Wheatland County Residents Against BFI

Wheatland County residents have united in their opposition to rezoning of prime farmland near the intersection of highways 22x and 24 which would enable waste disposal company, BFI, to use the land for Calgary refuse. Tourism, recreation, and agriculture are normally the main focus of the council for the future of Wheatland County. Local residents believe that rezoning will have a major negative impact on the community and they want to remind Wheatland County council of its imperative.
