The April Fools worm seems to have a lot of experts baffled. It could be the best/worst April Fools' hoax ever or it might be a disaster for some financial institutions. In a worst case scenario, if your computer is connected to the internet on or near April 1st, then the worm could affect you. IF you have it on your computer.
***If you don't have all your updates from Microsoft, then this worm is probably on your computer right now. The worm used Microsoft software weaknesses to get into computers around the world. Now it is on a timer and will start at a predetermined data and time.

Some of the experts believe it will trigger on April 1st or close to there. Nobody is sure. If it is on your computer and if you do not have your updates, you are at risk to lose your private information to whomever is out there willing to pay.
*** My suspicion is that it will not happen as expected. Possibly, three or four days after the deadline everybody's guard will be down, computers will be left on, users will access risky websites, and BLOOEY....April Fool! No apology. Just crap hitting the fan.
