We are trying some new software from the Open Source Community.

• Kompozer seems to be a superb addition to the collection of freeware software packages that can be used to update web pages and CSS.

Watch this page for changes as I learn to use the package on Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows7.

Windows7 has a lot of glitches that Microsoft seems to believe are user friendly features:

• Hiding file extensions so users are forced to guess what kind of file is being saved
• Hiding folder lists on the C: drive and forcing users to use "virtual" folders called Libraries.
• Setting permissions so that software that used to work, now cannot be used because settings and configuration files cannot be saved.
• etc.
